This question is actually not so hard to answer. The economy still hasn’t picked up to a healthy level from the recent recession. The job market is saturated with far too many people applying for jobs since the unemployment rate is high. So even if you are qualified, it’s almost like a raffle because there are a lot of people who are qualified too who have applied for the same job. The key is to have an edge over the competition; but then that can be looked as a deal breaker because employers can dismiss people who are “over qualified”. Just be happy that you live in Canada and not the US. The good o’l saying of “it’s not what you know, it’s who you know” seems to be a God send for people with connections.
You know what i keep wonder?? why is it soo hard to find a job and you know you are qualified??
